Hi, I'm Carol, and I’m an Operations Manager at PartnerHero. I’m also a daughter, granddaughter, niece, sister, friend, coworker, or just someone you can reach out to. I recently became an Auntie to a perfect little boy that made me believe in love at first sight.
I was born in La Lima, Honduras and I’ve been living there ever since; My family on my dad’s side is from the Bay Islands and Belize, and my family on my mom’s side is from La Lima. Growing up, I got just the right dose of ocean, nature, and city/town life.
My hobbies have always revolved around sports and physical activities, The right side of my brain never really kicked in, so throughout middle school and high school I played basketball, soccer and volleyball. I love to work out and during the pandemic I decided to build my home gym, and I don't think I'll ever go back to a regular gym. I’m currently obsessed with my Trizone Squad, which is the perfect mix between workouts, community, and delicious food.
I love to travel; my sister and I love to go hiking; every time I visit her we go to a new state park in New York or Connecticut. Fall is definitely my favorite time to be there. The foliage, craft beer, and quality time with my loved ones is always the best!
As I enter life’s third floor, the 30s, one of my main goals is to invest in moments and trips with my best friends and family. I 100% believe that it's not about the destination, it's about the people and the moments you're creating on every trip.
I am that person who is always checking up, sending good vibes, and random msg that will make you crack up. I foster my friendships and most of my friends are lifelong friends. Mau nicknamed me Caring Carol for a reason.
I come from a family of strong working women who have been my greatest example of how grit and attitude lead to long-term success and growth.
During my time at PH I have experienced so many things, failure being one of them. I don’t know who needs to hear this but failing is learning and sometimes taking a step back will build you up stronger, you just have to believe it.
We’re probably at the 2 minute mark so I’ll end with this. Spend time with those who nurture your glow even in your darkest days. Be nice and always be good to others.
