PartnerHero has practices and controls in place designed to keep your personal data safe, ensure it’s managed responsibly, and verify that access is only granted to appropriately authorized individuals. Our various policies surrounding data protection and information security define the requirements that our internal teams must follow when it comes to handling and securing your information. They cover people processes as well as IT-managed technical practices. Training. In order to ensure that our policies are understood and applied correctly, we provide training on the data protection principles applicable to each team’s day-to-day operations. Information Security Controls. Along with policies and training, we ensure that appropriate security controls are in place for access management, secure transfer and storage (including encryption), appropriate retention, monitoring, and vulnerability management, among others.
Accessing & Managing Your Data.
You have rights when it comes to accessing and managing your personal data. If you have a request surrounding access, correction, use restriction or deletion of your personal data, or have any questions in general on our data processing practices, reach out to us here. We will respond as promptly as possible, and no later than 30 days after receiving your request.
Our Compliance Activities.
PartnerHero utilizes third-party service providers to carry out some of the personal data processing that we do. These providers are our “subprocessors”. Each subprocessor maintains its own privacy policies and practices, but we ensure that those practices meet the same privacy standards we have in place at PartnerHero. PartnerHero adheres to the principles of the EU-U.S. and Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield programs, which are designed to ensure that data transfers between these countries and the United States follow specific standards. Our participation can be verified on the Privacy Shield website. We are committed to resolving any complaints we receive concerning our privacy practices. If you have a complaint, we encourage you to contact us here and we will work with you to resolve it. We also work with local data protection authorities in the EU and Switzerland to resolve any privacy complaints we receive from individuals in these countries. Dispute resolution comes at no cost to individuals. PartnerHero is also subject to the investigatory and enforcement powers of the FTC. Depending on circumstances surrounding a privacy dispute, individuals may have the right to invoke binding arbitration through the FTC. We remain liable for personal data transfers made to our subprocessors or other third parties.
