Average Handle Time (AHT)

Average Handle Time (AHT) is the average duration of the entire customer interaction (phone, chat, or email support), from the time the customer initiates the interaction until the issue is fully resolved. Every industry has its own standards for this metric, but usually, for customer service, the AHT is usually around 3 minutes.
