Considering the devastating impact that COVID had on businesses that require in-person interaction, PartnerHero was relatively lucky in 2020. Our offices closed and we moved to a work-from-home setting in March, making it easier to keep our community safe.
Originally made as an internal training document, we're sharing this guide to the outside world today for the first time. If you've ever been unsure or afraid about how to address a trans or non-binary colleague, this guide shares practical advice and exercises that will set you in the right direction to create a supportive environment.
PartnerHero made the annual Inc. 5000 list of the fastest-growing private companies in the United States. Our success stems from our focus on culture and quality.
As startups work to create the future, the very notion of “work” is changing too. For both businesses and the people who power them, the choices and considerations are no longer binary: Employee or contractor? Insource or outsource? Freelancer or gig-worker? Quality or cost? Culture or pay? Office or remote?
And that is what PartnerHero is. A technology-enabled services company that is built to answer these questions and many others.
No one will ever say that 2020 was an easy year.
While PartnerHero Honduras was in full swing helping associates who were impacted by Tropical Storm Eta, Typhoon Ulysses struck Manila, Philippines forcing several of our associates there to evacuate their homes.
It’s been three weeks since Tropical Storm Eta landed in Honduras forcing dozens of PartnerHero employees and their families to evacuate their homes, in many cases with nothing but the clothes on their backs. Between then and now, Hurricane Iota also hit the region, causing additional flooding and delaying the timeline for when those impacted can begin rebuilding their lives.
Hi, I’m Alexandra, but you can call me Alex, I’m 26 years old and I’ve been at PartnerHero for over three years. I’m currently working as a Team Manager for a very cool partner called BentoBox.
Hello, my name is Allan and I have been with Partnerhero for 4 years 4 months and 30 days. Not that I’m counting.
I worked at a call center almost three years, moving from agent, to mentor, to QA Department and ended up being a supervisor for about two years. It was a really good experience, where I learned many things that helped me grow personally and professionally. However, after a couple of months of being a supervisor, the learning experience disappeared. We were on a loop with a monotonous routine.
Embracing growth, by definition, is about developing our skills and staying open to change. But that is just the tip of the iceberg. Embracing growth for me, is having your world turned upside down and still being able to see it as a learning opportunity.
There's a commitment happening at PartnerHero to intentionally share our mission and culture outside the company with historically vulnerable communities. Here's what we're working on this year.
